Collective Çukurcuma (Naz Cuguoğlu, Mine Kaplangı, Serhat Cacekli) olarak küratörlüğünü üstlendiğimiz, Red Bull Art Around’un üçüncü edisyonu olarak Arnavutköy’de gerçekleşen “Hayaletler” sergisi 20 Mayıs’a kadar ziyaret edilebilir. Sergi kapsamında başlattığımız “Hayaletler” üzerine ve paralelinde düşünceler* adlı yazı dizisi ile araştırmalarını yakından takip ettiğimiz dört yazarı; Merve Ünsal, Eda Sancakdar, Ebru Yetişkin ve Ulya Soley’i, davet ederek kimi zaman sergiyle paralel evrende, kimi zamansa onun Arnavutköy’deki varlığıyla zamanda ve mekanda keşisen yazılar yazmalarını ve beraber düşünme sürecimize ortak olmalarını istedik. Sonuçta çıkan yazıların, ilhamını Derrida’nın hauntology kavramından alan, ve geçmişe dair bitmeyen bir nostalji duygusunu hiçbir zaman gerçekleşmemiş bir gelecek tahayyülüyle bir araya getiren serginin beraber düşünmeye açtığı soruları sergi bittikten sonra da yankılatmasını, ve sizleri de içine alarak uzayda bir büyük ekoya dönüşmesini umut ediyoruz.

Thoughts on and parallel to “Ghosts”
Curated by Collective Çukurcuma (Naz Cuguoğlu, Mine Kaplangı, Serhat Cacekli), Red Bull Art Around’s third edition “Ghosts” can be visited until 20th of May in the neighbourhood of Arnavutköy. For the article series “Thoughts on and parallel to Ghosts”, we invited four researchers: Merve Ünsal, Eda Sancakdar, Ebru Yetişkin and Ulya Soley to participate in our thought processes and to write articles about the exhibition sometimes in the parallel universe, and sometimes intersecting with its presence in Arnavutkoy in terms of time and location. Inspired by Derrida’s hauntology concept, incorporating the nostalgia feeling of a never-ending yearning to the past and a fantasy of a never happened future, the exhibition aims to reflect on the questions arisen even after the show is over, and we are hoping that at the end of this process these articles will turn into a big echo in the space.
